I remember the New Years Eve
when it was turning to 1950. I was 6 years old &
was so confused on how to change 1949 to 1950!
But now changing it toI think I can handle
that?? LOL
I am not a History buff. As a
matter of fact, history was my worst subject in
school.
I only know how far we have come in
this century.
Would our Ancestors have thought
of having all the modern conveniences like we
have.
Such as TV sets, Washing Machines &
Dryers etc. How about all the Electric gadgets
like Microwave Ovens, Food Processors, Blenders,
Mixers, Electric
Knives etc.
What about Computers &
WHAT NO
WEBTV?
How about NO indoor plumbing or bathtubs?
How
about coming from 78rpm records to reel to reel
to eight track to cassette tapes to CD's.
I
remember only black & white TV with only 13
stations.
I remember my grandparents telling
me about eating a full Chinese meal for 13
cents.
I am sure we all have lots of
memories of things that have changed!
What
progress will our children & grandchildren see in
this 21st. century?
