IN MEMORY OF OUR SON KEITH
3/27/67 to 9/9/78
I always felt that Al & I were Choosen by God to be the Parents of Keith our first born child.
Keith was born Healthy & Normal! At the age of 19 days old he got sick!
His illness caused him to become Severely Retarded & Physically Handicapped!
God allowed us to keep Keith for 11 1/2 years.
He then took him from us to become one of his Angels!
There is nothing in this world that can compare to the unconditional love of a child with Special Needs.
The caring for such a child like this is quite hectic. But the love that is given to you is far beyond your wildest imagination! The JOY & HAPPINESS that Keith had brought into our lives cannot compare to anything else on the face of this earth.
We were truly BLESSED having had Keith in our lives, even for this short time.
The song that is playing is called "Daddy's Little Girl". However, I had changed the words to "Mommy's Little Boy". I sang this song to Keith everyday of his life.

A meeting was held quite far from earth,
"It's time again for another birth"
Said the Angels to the Lord above,
"This special child will need much love.
His progress may seem slow,
Accomplishments he may not show,
And he'll require extra care,
From folks he meets way down there."
"He may not run, laugh or play,
His thoughts may seem quite far away.
In many ways he won't adapt,
And he'll be known as handicapped"
"So let's be careful where he's sent,
We want his life to be content,
Please Lord find the parents who,
Will do this special job for you."

The special role they're asked to play.
